Sharing Cotton the owl with you again. I wrote about her awhile back. She is living at the local state park and being taken care of by the rangers. She was found abandoned in the snow. The ranger said she looked like a cotton ball. That is how she got her name. It is cool to be able to go and visit her anytime. She has a great home with real trees for perches. I took this photo with my phone through the fence. She talked to me for a minute. Not sure what exactly she said. Probably go away, I am trying to nap! She is a beautiful owl and I am so thankful for the rangers that rescued her and gave her a home. Even though she will never fly in the wild again, she is alive and well.
Owlish is notoriously difficult to understand, and even harder to translate!
I know but would love to learn. I love all animals and want to understand their moves and sounds.
What a lovely Owl, glad she was rescued. She has people who love her too. Great to see this.
Yes she is and a day brightener when I visit her.
Hehe, interesting conversation between you and her.
Funny, I do that without even thinking. I love animals.
She is so cute. It looks like she’s got a special size, am I right?
Yes she is a little small, maybe because she was rescued as a baby in the woods.
Owhh… I see… yes, that makes sense…
I love owls, but I can say that this was is the cuties owl I have ever seen.
Same her, and she is a rescue, makes her even more special.
I recognized her enclosure before I even pulled up the post. I thought…wait… I know her… And some of the other birds as well there. What a great place to go and thank you for taking us with you again.
Thanks Kim, they built her a nice home. Always good visit her.
Oh Carol, Cotton is so cute. How adorable. I just love owls, they are beautiful birds.
Thanks, isn’t she lovely! I am so excited to get to visit her.
Fantastic shot! Such a beautiful owl 🙂 Thank you for sharing about her!
Thank you she is a beauty for sure!
The photo is perfect. Thanks to being saved now, many people can see it. It will also lack its environment in nature for sure
Thanks, like I said I had to hold the phone inside the fence to get a good shot. It lacks but yet it lives!
She’s adorable! I’m happy she’s well taken care of!
Yes she is, it is so cool to see her turn her head completely around.
She always brings a smile.
