color crazy challenge – blue

this is the sorta thing I like to do for the crazy color challenges, when I have the bandwidth. some weeks there just isn’t enough time to do it… she kinda looks like a Star Wars kinda alien to me

you know, her lighting seems really flat here. what happened to that warm rim light?

that background seems flat, too. this whole piece is flat

the orange one was supposed to contrast her skintone, but this background does a better job

  when you do a centered composition the piece looks static, but when you go diagonal it looks dynamic. that’s the exact same pose, just rotated…
