This week’s colors in @Kim_Johnson ‘s Color Crazy Challenge are purple and blue. And I want to share some photos of irises from my mother’s garden.
According to Wikipedia, iris takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow. Some authors state that the name refers to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species.
This is one of my favorite flowers and I will be happy to see your photos of blue or purple irises. The list is open for submissions!
