A Cat's Purr ~ Day 175

For the cat owner’s out there, I know you will agree that your day is made when your cat is in your lap purring. Such a relaxing and calming feeling. It helps break your train of thought sometimes, in a good way. Worrying for example can be helped by holding your cat. Many experts theorize that the frequency of the cat’s purr might offer a kind of built-in physical therapy. It’s probably no accident that this frequency is also used in humans to help wounds heal faster.

I know my two cats are my therapy cats for sure. Do not get me wrong, I love dogs as well. And I miss my cocker spaniel. But for now my two cats are keeping me chilled and stress-free. I wish the same for all of you. A chillaxed kind of day. Brendel says hello… and good-night in the same breath as she chillaxes in the screen room.

  1. It is so much fun when we sit down or lie back and our cat sticks to our body, especially if the cat is in our lap. Hmm… We can feel the energy exchange at that moment!
    Cats are amazing indeed.

My warm hug for Brendel there.

  2. Cats or I think pets in general make one feel all calm and secure when they curl up on their lap. Your cat looks like my husband’s cat. Sooo loveble looking!
