For the cat owner’s out there, I know you will agree that your day is made when your cat is in your lap purring. Such a relaxing and calming feeling. It helps break your train of thought sometimes, in a good way. Worrying for example can be helped by holding your cat. Many experts theorize that the frequency of the cat’s purr might offer a kind of built-in physical therapy. It’s probably no accident that this frequency is also used in humans to help wounds heal faster.
I know my two cats are my therapy cats for sure. Do not get me wrong, I love dogs as well. And I miss my cocker spaniel. But for now my two cats are keeping me chilled and stress-free. I wish the same for all of you. A chillaxed kind of day. Brendel says hello… and good-night in the same breath as she chillaxes in the screen room.

Sleep tight, Brendel. Have sweet kitty dreams.
She says thank you! 🙂
This cat is very cute. I like it.
Thanks for your response, sorry so late.
Yep, the way to get me to click on a link is to feature a cute cat!
You were enticed by the cat… good to see you Ann.
A friend just sent me this article about the job listing for a cat sitter on a Greek Island. Only 3000 applicants so far:

Thanks for your response, sorry so late. This would be a dream job!
Better late than never…sometimes I “disappear” for months on end.
Thanks and she said thanks too. 🙂
Having your cat purring in your lap is one of the best feelings indeed! Brendel is gorgeous as always!
Yes indeed Ellie, thank you and she says the same.
They are great therapists
Yes indeed they are my friend.
She is sooo Beautiful!! I used to be a dog person but got recently converted to a cat person.
Good to see you Della. Thank you, I love both cats and dogs.
You can be both a cat and dog person. 🙂
It is so much fun when we sit down or lie back and our cat sticks to our body, especially if the cat is in our lap. Hmm… We can feel the energy exchange at that moment!
Cats are amazing indeed.
My warm hug for Brendel there.
Yes you know what I am saying, they are nature’s therapy for us. Free of charge, well almost. Besides food, litter, treats, etc. 🙂
Yes indeed, Carol. Even we need to cut the grass in the garden to keep their beauty.
Yes and this time of the year I hear lawnmowers all over the neighborhood.
Yes, totally agree the cats purr is relaxing and calming. I think that any animal that is a pet is part of the family and each one extends your life.
Yes indeed Pamela, I so enjoy my cats. Animals are so cool to have around.
I also believe they can extend your life. So good for our health, body and minds.
Wonderful photograph, such a beautiful cat! And I don’t have a cat, but I can definitely understand!
Thanks Courtney, she just woke up.
Cats or I think pets in general make one feel all calm and secure when they curl up on their lap. Your cat looks like my husband’s cat. Sooo loveble looking!
Absolutely they do, that is why we hear about therapy animals.
You’re doing great photo, nice cats
Thank you Branka, we are enjoying the screen room.
