This is the Holly Oak that is in my back yard. There is something mystical about this tree. It sits in the center of my yard. It seems to guide the house and yard.
There are some people who believe, the Holly Tree is the guiding of the night. It holds the power of the moon.
Many would not like to have this tree in their yards. The leaves are sharp and can prick you easily. But, for me, I seem to have a connection with this tree. It is something I can not explain. Or, maybe I just like the tree.
That tree is beautiful. I love trees and have some in my garden. The trees are much smaller than yours.
doesn’t it have mystic properties in Norse mythology?
Yes, it does, but I am not sure what they are. If you know, I would love to hear about it.

Love how the pretty pink colors glow throughout the tree.
I love that to, almost as if it were healing something or you can see it’s soul.
I have never known that tree, it seems interesting especially because someone like you feel connected to it.
It is the guardian of the night. Connected to the moon’s energies. It is believed in Celtic circles.
Good energy, though not everyone likes it.

They are poisonous berries. Holly is used for holiday decorations in the United States.
we had one on the side of our house. My son-in-law cut it out for us. He had cuts all over his arms! They are lovely!
I bet they have pointy leaves. If, you have pets I would highly recommend getting rid of them.
we do, but the fence didn’t have the dogs anywhere near the bush!
Looks like the Banyan tree that is worshipped by some here.
I wonder if it is in the same family of trees.
