The workout

I’m glad that I got this work out in today because tomorrow is Martin Luther King Day and the gym will be closed. Today my sole purpose was to get in an abdominal workout, and some mileage on the stationary bike while reading my book in the process.

As for the abdominal workout a chose, I researched a lot on the hanging knee raises workout which works the entire abdominal region. Lately, I have been flooding my Pinterest collections with different types of abdominal workouts and that was one of those workouts I wanted to add to my daily routine along with the standing trunk twist.

It seriously feels like the older I get, the more work I have to do to my abdominal muscles, but needless to say I am up for the challenge.

Strong in the broken places – Quentin Vennie

I am so invested in this book! Sadly I am seventy pages away from finishing it. I feel so connected with the authors of books I read and when I finish them its like I lost a friend that I connected with through stories shared.
