I tailored this workout around obtaining Strava challenge badge ‘Let’s Go Outside by Sweaty Betty!’, a challenge that required 40 kilometers of activity in any physical activity of my choosing. And a challenge that I had only 6.35 miles to go in order to obtain its badge on my profile. So far, since gaining my first Sweaty Betty badge I have been on a roll gaining every one I set out for which I enjoy. Another badge gained during this workout session was ROKA Together 21 badge which required 200 minutes of activity within a two week span.
I have been doing a meatless diet for now 77 days. What I love about this change is I feel less bloated and energized throughout the day. And recently I incorporated apple cider vinegar back into my daily routine which has helped me get quality sleep.
I got some bike miles in today as well as some reading of my book ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ by Chris Gardner. The goal is to finish this book soon, so that I can start a new book that involves running; possibly Born To Run? It’ll be great to pick up some extra inspiration as I get into my training for 2021 Chicago Marathon.
Workout: 6.40 mile bike; 15 dips, 15 pull ups; 30 pound bicep curls – 20 reps; 40 pound bicep curls – 10 reps; Ab coaster – 20 front, 10 each side; Yoga – 3:03 minutes
Things that I enjoyed doing this workout were the upper body exercises, plus the yoga poses near end which I have been remotivated at doing. I hope you are having a great day.
