My Journey: Stomach Mobility Problems

I recently had a test to see if I have a hiatal hernia condition or not. I found out I do have an acid reflux condition which I already knew about. The test showed I have a small hernia, but then I heard something alarming to me. I was told my stomach does not have as much mobility as it should have. I will be taking a prescription called Reglan (I think) to help this condition.

After the shock of hearing the news, I started to search for information about this condition, and it was not as simple as I would have liked it to have been.

The link below explains about different types of stomach conditions. I do not seem to have the worst type because I am not vomiting or having nausea. I found information about how to eat if you have stomach conditions like I found out that I have.

The strange thing of it is, is that the person that called me from the doctor’s office about my test results did not tell me to eat differently. I may be able to eat some of the foods that I like.  On the list of foods that I can eat, I found out pasta was alright to eat. I think I can have milk, white bread, cooked vegetables etc. I will ask my doctor to be sure though.

I really have never heard of this condition, so I have to research it some more.  If you know anything about this condition place it in the comment box below.

  1. So sorry you have stomach problems. I do as well but not a hernia. We have too much in common!
Good luck with your diagnosis. I know there are natural remedies that can help you.

  2. There are days when I get heartburns. I noticed that I drink tea from coffee. And you can take a fasting morning stomach protector. It also helps.
