I have recently been experiencing pain in the groin area. It does not hurt all the time, but when it does I can’t walk up and down stairs without a lot of pain. Once the pain start I can go for a whole day in pain. Then it subsides for a few days or a week.
I went to see my doctor yesterday, and she told me things that shocked me. I thought I could have a hernia, but she doesn’t think my pain is due to a hernia. She said it could be arthritis in the hips, and that could lead to the needing of a posible hip replacement in the future.Yikes, not what I expected to hear about my groin pain.
I read about this type of pain, and it could also be from a stressed fracture. The link below talks about groin pain from groin pain sufferers. Click here!
I hope all I need is a little physical therapy. Total knee surgery runs in my family, so that means to me any joint conditions are more likely to happen to me. I want to try to avoid it!
My husband and I are suppose to do some traveling in the near future, but not sure if I should be trraveling in my present condition.

Thank you for this interesting comment.
I sure hope that it can be an easier solution. There are also so many phantom pains that can occur and seem so real and then suddenly go away. Before you worry yourself in a tizzy take a look at this link I found. Perhaps it can help answer some of your questions. Many blessings to you.
