Fasting For Health

I recently read someone else’s post on another site, which discussed fasting and eating ketogenic diet foods. I thought it was interesting. I found many videos which list ketogenic diets food, but I decided to use this one because it is shorter. There is also one for vegetarians, in which I need to check out later for myself.

Anyway, fasting involves not eating at certain times and eating at other times. I noticed an interesting schedule.

Fasting from 7 am to 11 am

Do some kind of workout: from 11 am to 12 pm

Eat: from 12 pm to 6 pm

Fasting again from 6 pm and 11 pm

Sleep from 11 pm to 7 am

Fasting triggers the immune system regeneration and kills cancer.

When eating, consider choosing Ketogenic foods, such as avocado and olives. Some nuts include walnuts, macadamia, almonds, peanuts, and filberts as well as making your own nut butter. Some seeds include chia and sunflower. Some dairy includes heavy whipped cream, cheddar, feta, brie, blue, goat soft cheese, and butter. There are also lots of oils that are ketogenic.

I think a ketogenic vegetarian/vegan diet sounds interesting, and I am considering on researching this more for my own purposes.

  1. Fasting is a “learning ritual” of self-restraint, self-control or control of something (invisible), from or for; Patient, healthy, steadfast, strong, arousing the unconscious, immune to weapons or animal poison, even to know our own souls. So fasting for health is definitely beneficial!

  2. I have done the keto diet before…it is the only thing that helps my blood sugar. I think fasting is great. Some people also eat OMAD (one meal a day)

Great post! I couldn’t do the diet as a vegan/vegetarian…but it could work for some!
