so here is the update to the kokoshnik that I meant to post but then screwed up and used the wrong iteration of the headshot. but even this is a screwup since I forgot to give you the background only shot. oh well…

#1 all watercolor

this is probably too soft, but when I do the full sized render, the watercolor might work better in that context. we'll see...

many of you prefer this version regardless, but there are some alternatives

It’s not the sharpness I like better, it is the hue. I don’t know, still undecided.

Glaciers come in all the colors of blue to green you could imagine and then some. I love both, but I prefer the one with less green hue.

They are all beautiful. I am kind of liking the last one. The blue tint is always a favorite as opposed to the slight green Howard mentioned above.

I could easily go with all watercolor.
(I don’t think there is a lot of value in my ideas about other’s artwork but the ice seems a bit to the green.) I need to check my glacier photos. I might be dead wrong.
