He is my husband and he painted this superb sea scape and ship sailing in New Zealand waters.
It is a fictional place in Northland, New Zealand.
This took a lot of work with him being very precise about everything he has put into this painting
Yes, it is an actual watercolour done by hand and it took some time to do.
His artwork is wonderful!

I’ve used watercolor before, it is an unforgiving medium…
Watercolours can sometimes be fixed and often changed the out come by water and layers of paint.
sometimes you can lift color out, but generally you can just go darker
