This is a picture of a crystal vase on the table covered a glass that I took by shaking the camera deliberately to get the effect of the reflection of light that danced.
It was like an abstract painting for me, and quite beautiful in my eyes.
Besides, it’s like a picture of our life too. Throughout life, we have gone through various situations, as the variables are on a straight or twisting path, flat or climbing, smooth or shaking, calm or turbulent, run or fall down. But living life with consciousness and contemplative will greatly help us to enjoy the essence of our journey, the benefits, and the beauty of all of them, both in moments of comfort and when shaken.
If you curious and eager to participate in this challenge, here are the rules and guidelines to join.
Shaken, not stirred. With a twist…
An important and useful explanation!
Just having some 007 fun with my brother-in-law
Often 007 ask for a glass for a twist and not the spoon.
And how about those crazy names they gave the women in those films? What is wrong with Ian Fleming?
Craziness and weirdness always attract attention, right?
That is certainly the case. There’s a biological / evolutionary reason for it…
What do you think is the reason?
All animals are hardwired to recognize anything new and pay more attention to that thing. This is a survival instinct- that new thing may be a predator or some type of threat
What type of animal is 007? And does 007 include food or predators?
007 is a homo sapiens, so he could be food or a predator depending on the situation
So, however great and handsome he is, he remains part of the food chain.
Being sexy doesn’t exempt you from the cycle of life
Like us and our wives, eh?
I hope my wife doesn’t see me as part of the food chain. Or were you indicating you see your wife as sushi?
Our wives regard us as their protector of predators on land and protect us from predators at sea. They told me last night.
an even division of labor? Sounds like the foundation of a healthy relationship to me…
I think so. You can make sure by asking directly to them as well…
Some folks don’t like a level playing field. I call them cheaters…
Ahhh… that can be very disappointing…
Not really, it is a nice indicator of people who I don’t want to deal with, let alone trust…
It seems they have been very successful in playing the role of antagonist.
They failed completely; I refuse to play with cheaters
Are cheaters not the role of antagonists?
I will read about cheaters, I will watch films with cheaters and I will even play games with cheaters IN them, but I will not play with cheaters…
People who stick to principles are always effective.
I wish that were the case but not in my experience
It must be because of our limitations…
Principles take effort and sacrifice. People without them tend to get ahead but it is like running around in a blizzard naked…
That’s a good parable! The “small” principles that are operational in life to be effective, for me for example; clean your laptop or computer for durability and keep it working properly (as you’ve said), or practice and develop your talents so that your skills will improve and your paintings are valuable or change your car engine oil regularly to give the best performance and durability.
Yes, but these principles seem to be unpopular today. Nobody wants to make an effort, they just want a payout…
Most people want shortcuts or instant results, is that so?
Yes. Me, I like doing the work. I learn more that way…
That is your principle as I mentioned above.
Okay, now I see where you were going with that
Very cool photo experiment. Makes me dizzy if I stare too long. Great job Albert.
Thank you so much, Carol. But, is it the impact that big?
Not really, it is just my silly vertigo that’s all.
Hahaha… to me, it is a veiled compliment…
Thanks a lot, Tas. As life is a great game, this is a small part of it.
Something like what, my friend?
I like it as an experiment.
Thanks a lot, Branka. It’s about something out there, and inside here as well.
I use to put a small object into a toy camera and shake it and then shine it on the wall at night and have friends guess what it was.
Is that a wonderful memory of your childhood, LaJenna?
A great idea with the camera shake. I like it as an experiment. He will keep in mind.
I have posted some photos of this kind for your challenge. Hopefully soon published
