Before I got married I had a friend fix up my house, before trying to sell it. He wasn’t sure what he would find, but when he pulled off the old carpet of my old staircase, he found a great type of wood, that only needed to be stained. There was no other thing that needed to be done to this staircase. Just look what happened when I put this style of Photomania on it.

I have heard of this happening a lot. I prefer hardwoods over carpet.
