I’ve been creating these little paper houses for educational purposes for years. I homeschooled my children using them and then felt maybe others could make use of the projects for their classrooms. They are fun and entertaining. But more than that, they are educational, using math, geometry, small motor skills in cutting and gluing, as well as artistic skills in coloring and construction. I have created a number of them and made them available on my Etsy page: Dancing Paintbrush Co.
They are downloadable patterns for you to print and reprint as you like, for one or a classroom of 30. There are easy patterns good for kindergarten and above, as well as difficult patterns sure to keep the older junior high and above challenged. Some patterns have several parts and therefore one pattern can be used for several age groups, keeping the difficult extras for the older students.
I love these little house projects. They make great gifts and Christmas Village dioramas. At one point I put Christmas twinkle lights in each house to create a lit Christmas Village. They turn out lovely. Check them out and see. The Dancing Paintbrush Co link is included.
