My wife found this video on Facebook and shared it with me. I thought it was so good that I had to share it here.
The guys who did it took an aquarium and squirted ink into the water. The patterns which formed were stunning. Then they put various objects in the aquarium to distort how the ink flowed. First they put in a mock-up of the solar system. Then they used a “meteor” to shoot through the planets dragging the ink behind it. That was my favorite. They also used flowers and a toy city.
I did not make the video. In fact, I’m not certain who did. I found this link on YouTube but, when I went to see who actually made it, there were no names. If anyone knows then names, please let me know because I would like to make certain that they get the credit for this.
Thanks, Peter
Soo cool, excellent find. I love it, Gary
Wow! Thats amazing
I wish I could take the credit for it. 🙂
Very cool video.
Thanks, Carol
It is cool. Fluid dynamics in action. I remember seeing this and enjoyed watching it again.
Sometimes physics can be fun.
That was very neat, thanks for sharing,
You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Magical!! This is why I love working with alcohol inks..:)
I thought it was amazing.
This is fantastic!
Thank you, Ellie
Wow, it’s like a Holi festival underwater! I thought I knew what to expect from the description. I was so wrong. It was far, far better than expected.
I’m not sure what a Holi festival is but I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised also.
This is cool Gary! Similar in the way I see fractal flames working.
That’s true.
That was cool !
My favorite was the “meteor”.
