Love ItLove It

Creativity – Constructive activity for Covid 19 Lockdown.

I am very busy whether I am in Covid 19 lockdown or not, I am a full time carer looking after my husband.

However, it is hard not to go and get what we need for the garden or go out to a coffee shop or just go for a drive. Somehow, we will both need a long drive when this is over to blow the cobwebs.

I learned that creativity is great for the soul and what you create can help you realise there is more to life than the temporary discomfort.

This thumbnail is a piece of corrugate iron that was leaning on the fence and seemed sharp, dull and gray. It began to get to me. I was painting plastic milk bottles to be planters for my red tulip bulbs and there was left over paint. So out of that, here is a kauri tree.

No the thumbnail is not finished yet.

Creativity is great therapy for anyone, if you put your hand to create it is amazing what you can do and you can do many things just about anything you want to do, or attempt.

What stops us? What do people think of it? I expect to be Michaelangelo in one go or to be like someone else you are not..

Put away your preconceptions and your prejudice and then you are free to explore your boundaries, but the limit is that you can only be yourself…

In anything, skills are learned. Be patient.

Stay home, stay safe, we are all in this together globally and we will over come it.

#3 Baking

I don't do a lot of baking normally although I am trained in the catering business.

However, we have a free power hour with Mercury energy until a set time. So used it for this creation. My neighbour now has some baking and most of the carrot cake is in the freezer. I don't put icing on unless I can help it.
