If you have the chance to come in our country Macedonia and to visit the capital city, Skopje, don’t forget to see this statue. This is the most beautiful statue in Skopje. Probably you are wondering who is she? Who was she? She was mother of Alexander the Great and her name is Olympia. Her father was the great king Neoptolemus I of Epirus. Her husband was Fillip II, king of Macedonia. Even though she was his fourth wife, they were in a deep relationship.

Skopje is a city full with statues, monuments and baroque architecture. It looks like an European city. If you have the opportunity, come and visit this lovely place some day.
