This year’s winter we finally had snow. As the temperatures went down, the pigeons found a nice spot to gather on the tall chimney, where they can get warm.
It’s actually the entire flock, but not one was flying as they were pretty much piled up on the chimney.
It’s a beautiful view.
It’s always fun to observe them. In my place, many people care pigeons to compete in various competitions; altitude flying, speed etc.
such a beautiful photo! 🙂 Looks like a postcard. 🙂
Very beautiful capture!
Shame – poor things! At least they’re getting a bit of warmth!
Pigeons are pretty in pictures but they leave such a mess behind.
Gorgeous photograph! Pigeons are awesome! <3
Lovely view of pigeons on top of the chimney
Well done ! Nice post !
What a flock! And what a mess they will make. 🙂
Hopefully the snow acts as insulation
They are very cool on the chimney with snow
We don’t have pigeons here, though we do have ring-necked doves, which are closely related. I sometimes wonder how they manage to survive when the temperatures drop to -40 F.
This picture is delightfully! Thank you!
