Sharing a photo with Friday’s Black and White challenge. This butterfly was a gift from years ago. A very special gift. Editing a photo to black and white changes the entire make up of a photo. Sometimes it works, other times not.
I kind of like this one in black and white. Although the original color is nice too (pink).

The butterfly appears more masculine in this B & W photo compared to a color one.
There are days I can not, on Friday I published a black photo.
I wore a pin just like that one when my daughter got married on the back of my dress. Such a special pin!
Nice! B&W really brings out the contrast with this picture.
Thanks Doc, it really makes a difference from the original pink one.
For my taste, the color image is even more beautiful, although it also has a black and white image of its charm
Yes, there are many times when the color is more beautiful.
Beautiful image , thank you for sharing
Thanks for your kind comment.
It looks nice n b&w but I guess it would look prettier in pink.
Yes the pink is nice, thank you Dawn!
This butterfly works in black and white really completely changed. If I did not know that this butterfly would be difficult to figure out
Thanks, I have posted it in its original pink color before.
Very lovely and effective photo, thanks for sharing……..
Thank you Pam, editing for the challenge.
It looks good in B&W!
I haven’t been active in the photo challenges…
I can’t really find good subjects most of the times :p
Thanks! It looks very different for sure.
You are so talented, you could make a challenge of your own.
