Now that the city’s excitement has ended, and the petards have calmed down, I I went for a walk with Maya. Destination … Chindia Park. Purpose: to make some new shots with reflections for Thursday Reflections. When we got out of the house it started to snow! With big flakes. It seemed that someone was shaking a pillow full of flakes from the air. It was superb! When we got to the park, the snow had settled in a thin layer on the frozen surface of the lake, so my desire to get a reflection was driven by failure. I had a brief photo session, walked a little around the lake and came back home!

The snow has made lake Chindia look like a paradise.
Looking for something but getting something else, that’s good too!
Wonderful, Ileana! The frozen lake surface covered in a powdering of snow looks delightful 🙂
You are right! Unfortunately, it did not last long …
Such things are all the more appreciated if they are ephemeral 🙂
I like to walk in the snow but with proper clothing since it seldom snows in Lake Charles.
I don’t want to do anything in the snow
Why not? Do not you love winter? It is wonderful to build a snowman, to ride on sleigh and skates. ??
I hate cold. Snow in artwork is the most I can handle
Very nice enchanting park area. We also have the Rideau Canal which is reputed to be the longest skating rink, but since I do not skate I never went on it. It is too bad that the snow had stopped falling as I just love snowfall but at least here early morning we were served also with a short snowfall. My sister was cursing it and I was loving it. Two opposites that still live together.
I wondered if Maya always goes with you on your beautiful and cold walks.
We are inseparable! ?
I thought so, how cool is that.
