Yeah, and sometimes it’s simply nice to send or receive a letter written on a paper.

As far as I know postal boxes on Swedish trams were installed to prevent ignitions – in the past, there were a lot of hooligans who often threw burning cigarettes into city usual postal boxes. Now you can see postal boxes in trams only in the centre of Stockholm – the Museum line/heritage line, which uses vintage trams.
