I don’t believe I have ever seen Bryce Canyon look the same twice. Either there is a different light, I am in a different spot, things have become more worn, shapes have changed and life has happened. You can be that if we are anywhere near Southern Utah we will make an extra effort to spend time a this amazing location.
Sometimes when walking among the hoodoos you feel like you are a miniture piece on a giant chess board. It is a once in a lifetime experience, every time you go.
Winter in Bryce Canyon
You can't imagine how many times the scene changes while you are standing in the same location. The sun hits the hoodoos from a different position with different weather conditions and everything changes.
I like the little bits of snow in this picture and that the hoodoos almost look florescent.
Ebenezer Bryce, who the National Park was named after said, “It’s a heck of a place to lose a cow”. I haven’t been there in many decades.
Cheers 🙂
