Mount Maculot, Cuenca, Batangas is of the popular scenic daytrip destination here in the Philippines.
From the peak of the mountain, you can view the Taal lake at its best. The mountain was well known for its mystery. Based on the some stories, there are several recorded deaths with unknown reason but despite those happenings, travelers and nature enthusiasts still visit the place.
See the photos below and see how stuning Mount Maculot is.
At the Rockie side of the mountain facing the lake.
With these natures beauty, who wouldn’t like to explore it? Who wouldn’t like to experience climbing it? No one, I suppose.

You visit the most wonderful places, Cassy 🙂
Absolutely my friend, Norman.
Awesome views, I would love to go, but circumstances prevent it.
It’s okay…I will return and take pictures for you..hihi.?
I like this place among the greenery of the mountain. I was born in such a beautiful end but in another direction of the world.
It a very cool and fresh place.?
Again, a wonderful adventure, Cassy. But if you ask, “Who would not like to experience climbing it?”, I have to answer it with “I’m not!”, It’s too far from my house… Hehehe…
But if I were Albert Widjojo, I will definitely ignore the distance just to visit a wonderful place…???
Well, I agree because you’re right, Cassy. As I also believe that you will climb the beautiful mountains in Indonesia, right?
Of course dear friend…if I will be given the chance hehe
I think, I also have the same view about chances…
I like the greenery. It looks like a hilly green carpet.
There is a steep rocky hill in my neighborhood, which is similar. it is called Suicide Hill and French Hill. They are very steep and tiring to climb, but not too big. It is an interesting hike.
Hiking is fun and enjoyable..How often you visit those hills near you? I bet it’s a wonderful place.
I go to hiking meetups 2 or 3 times per week, but i go on the hilly ones once a month.
