My beautiful White Bearded Irises are blooming now. It is such a treat to see these brilliantly showy and fragrant blooms each spring. I have had these for several years and they never disappoint. Sometimes I forget they are still there until they burst into bloom out of nowhere it seems. I am partial to the white bearded Irises but there are many more varieties and colors to enjoy. They are some of the easiest flowers to grow and need very little attention once established. My purple Iris is also a show stopper. How well do you know your Irises?

Very interesting post … I learned a lot of new
I didn’t know much about irises, such as the little care they require.
Beautiful flowers, indeed. 🙂
I got 6/10, by the way.
White is always beautiful, to me.
Sweet smelling good looking Iris
You got 8 out of 10 right!
I got seven out of ten right. It’s my favorite flower.
Only 4/10, but it was a very interesting quiz!
Thanks for taking the quiz.
Wao so beautiful great work man
Very enjoyable and so nice to have them in the garden
Nice Iris, and smell good, and white one, lovely!
The white one is my favorite but there are so many beautiful ones
One of out 10 on this quiz.
Well at least you now know a lot more about the Iris, thanks for taking the quiz.
My pleasure to take on this quiz.
Got 7 correct, I never knew they do not require water.
Same score but I knew that orchids were epiphytes…
I have never grown them, only seen them in neighbor’s yards.
I hear that even the most hearty breeds are difficult to grow
They are supposed to be one of the easiest plants to grow and that has been my experience
Great! You know your flowers. Iris can survive in dry conditions but if it is extremely dry conditions you will need to water them but generally they really don’t need it.
These blooms are so beautiful. c”,)
Too bad they are so short lived. Thanks
I agree. Photos are a good thing to capture them as a keepsake.
Very beautiful flowers. Thank you.
Yes they are and so many to choose from
So beautiful and interesting too.
Thanks, they are and so much history
