Rodgers and Hammerstein were the most successful and influential musical theatre writing team of the twentieth century, creating a string of popular Broadway musicals in the 1940s and 1950s, initiating what is considered the Golden Age of musical theatre. Their output also included work for television and the big screen, taking on issues such as racism, sexism and classism in many of their works. Their shows continue to receive frequent revivals around the world, both professional and amateur.

Nice score, Paul! Hope you enjoyed the quiz 🙂
I am taking the coward’s way out. I know absolutely nothing about musicals
Coward! You could be totally lucky and get 100% right – each question is just a 1 in 3 chance 😀
I am not going to show you the ignorance part of me, so I will only tell you that I got the first one right 🙂
LOL Icy 😀 😀 Thanks for participating!
Only 5 right, but I`m out of my depth here apart from the most popular musicals.
They were all popular, John! But thanks for taking the quiz 🙂
Only 4 this is not a strong category for me but fun nonetheless!
Well I am glad you enjoyed! This is a little before my time too, but I made the quiz for a request from some Facebook friends 🙂
You got 1 out of 11 right!
Bad day, right?
