Quiz To Test Your Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Knowledge

In the past few decades, people have started becoming increasingly aware of the importance of nutrition and why we should eat a balanced diet. This is a long learning curve because there are many misconceptions that have been around for a long time. This quiz is to check your nutritional knowledge when it comes to fruits and vegetables.

Each question will ask about a specific nutrient. It will be followed by three possible answers. Simply pick the best answer. This quiz is a lot more difficult than it sounds and there might be some surprises along the way.

Note: Don’t be fooled by the pictures. The picture shown for each question is merely the first choice given to that question. It won’t always necessarily be the correct answer. Thus, the pictures don’t give away the answers.

  1. Very well done, Rex!! I got 7, but if my memory was better I probably would have gotten 9 or 10. I have had to have so much education about nutrition because of my health problems, including diabetes, cardiac rehab, and low magnesium! LOL

    • Yep, aubergine/eggplant and courgette/zucchini can cause a little confusion, depending on where a person is. Of course, the same thing could be said of both Brit and Yank names, to Asians or others. Thus, people from various parts of the world might know exactly what benne, ajonjolí, bijan, goma, ngaa, kkae, kunzhut, linga, and vung are, but we might have difficulty unless we hear ‘sesame seeds’.
