Some time ago, I posted about this flower … and a possible identification of it … but to make sure, I emailed the florafaunaweb.nparks.gov.sg, a local website about plants in Singapore.
I thought they would just ignore my enquiry (since I was jsut trying my luck) but I was surprised that few days later, I’ve gotten a reply!!
“The plant is likely Simpuh Air (scientific name: Dillenia suffruticosa). You might like to see our website NParks’ Flora&FaunaWeb for more info at https://florafaunaweb.nparks.gov.sg/Special-Pages/plant-detail.aspx?id=2847″
This is the respond I got from Jennie from NParks! A great thank you for helping to identify the plant!!
