Do you remember your first flight? Your panic may have increased with the flight of the plane and when you heard the announcement from the air hostess, that now that the plane you are traveling on is flying thousands of feet above the ground.
Think, you’re 35,000 feet above the ground, but do you know why passenger planes don’t fly at low altitude? Engineering science and aviation experts cite several reasons, some of which are the most important
Due to its height, commercial planes face less wind resistance, while stable air, the aircraft is easy to fly and does not cost extra fuel. In other words, any commercial flight can reach its destination by spending less fuel.
At lower elevations, there are more air packets in the air, which causes the plane to overtake and affect its speed. Experts says the pilot can handle the ship relatively easily in case of an emergency.
An another reason is the flight of smaller planes at lower altitudes. One of the goals of flying at altitude is that the passenger aircraft’s engines continue to receive the oxygen they need and in the required quantity.

Thanks for sharing interesting info. I don’t even want to think how high I am when I’m sitting on a plane.
that’s really good thinking and great way to keep your self away from negative thinking
awesome!
The other thing, of course, is that it is critical to have planes flying over land and water high in the air to allow the concept of windows or stacking.
32000 feet would be the height for shorter hop flights (cities in the same space)
33000 feet for long haul but not the ocean
34000 for trans oceanic flights
it allows the air traffic controllers to manage inbound and outbound flights!
Great , thank you for your detail information and comments
Interesting, Why waste fuel or trouble your fliers when you can do the same thing at a lower altitude . Thanks for sharing.
Well said , thanks Dawn
Very interesting and informative. I am a nervous flyer and I always wondered how those giant planes manage to stay in the air.
Yeah , people above 50 year always nervous while flying
Planes have their designated airlanes regarding the altitude and longitude.
I agree with you , very correctly said.
I enjoy flying and doing it enough often.
Great one must enjoy flying
At lower altitudes the aircraft also has less space. With so many aircrafts flying , the flying channels are getting too busy. When an aircraft flies 30000 feet from the ground ,more space is created because of thr larger arc being followed.
Makes sense. I enjoy flying.
Yeah , Great you are enjoying
