What Are You Grateful For?

As the year comes to an end I am overwhelmed by the number of the number of blessings this year has brought my family and I. One of the biggest blessings was my son’s dreams and desires since he was a child has finally come true. Good health ,strength to go after our dreams and most of all being together as a family, and the good times we have had last year  all add up to make this year a great year.

I have learned so much from life this year, and on of the life lessons is Count your blessings.  I always do that but the fragility of life has made me find new ways of counting my blessings. Losses and gains are part of life we still need to give ourselves the right to be happy. Each day needs to be lived to the fullest. It is okay to mourn our losses and week over our pains but we just need to get back on our feet with songs of rejoicing that we had what we had for that limited time.

I am amazed at myself, my strength of mind and body against the odds. I never fail to be grateful for that, I am able to pick myself up and comeback strongly after every adversity I have faced this last year. I am truly grateful for all that 2019 has brought me, including the adversities, they have really strengthened me.

Its been a great year for me and my family.

  1. I have a lot of things to be thankful for. My two children were both employed this year and my youngest already passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers. My 2019 brought a lot of blessings and I am thankful for all of these.
