You need to listen carefully to me, I never said this so often before but really, I just have to say it to you now, before we go into 2020 so here it is. Thank you for again honoring your payment to me. I never used to have to say thank you too often because I was not paid so often. Now, for several months, I must be doing something right or perhaps you are making our lives easier, perhaps, it’s a bit of both.

As I am finding my way along the Virily road so too are you trying to find yours I am certain of this. May I say, here, that as a veteran on similar sites as Virily, since 2008 one cannot help but notice, that when money becomes less, for whatever reason, the effects are always the same, despondency, general lack of enthusiasm follows. 

But where the writers were informed briefly, and I will mention one site that still functions today, wikinut.com and the whole reason they are still running, is because when bad stuff happened to the site financially, the owner,  Sam Wormleighton informed the writers about the problem. The site is still functioning today,(10 years) because of this communication. I have not written there for several years and in the past 7 days, I still get 1192 views of my old articles.

May you prosper and go from strength to strength in  2020

I believe that Virily is trying to do what this quote suggests: “The key to success is to learn, and then do things on your own terms. The definition of success is to do things on your own terms. You get what you want, by being it and not chasing it!”

There I go again, doing it, but it does seem to help when we do it. I mean, comparing 2019 to 2020, a period, we as yet know zero about.   5. I am still a member of Wikinut even though they no longer pay and have not for a few years now. I still get 1000 of views there myself. I have stayed there for the same reason, you did. They let us know, what was going on.

  6. I keep repeating this, communication is the key to any relationship!!! The lack of communication will drive some away. It should be an easy fix. Let’s hope 2020 will be better,

    • You are so right Carol and I’m not saying that how folks have been reacting is not normal, we are human beings and fallible and heaven knows people get let down every day, so the reactions expressed in whatever way, were necessary and positive changes happened so yes they were needed. I just felt, there was enough done and let’s just see how we as writers can build Virily up. My 4 years spent here have shown, me, admin people don’t talk much. We are not going to change that. Maybe they have a language problem, and have to constantly use translators who knows? That doesn’t make them stupid, I would not be able to start a site like this in any language. (I’m happy you’re kind of “coping” my friend)
