When I lived in the Western Cape, we visited Butterfly World in Stellenbosch. Butterfly World was a lovely attraction for the family located just outside Stellenbosch with 750 butterflies to see in a tropical garden setting. At the time the concept was quite unique in the world. …Butterfly World Zoo imported hundreds of pupae every week from breeding farms worldwide. This little girl was lucky to have a rare one dropping in for a chat.
Next to bees, they are the next major pollinators of the world.

Sometimes at the zoo they have a special viewing that arrives in the city. That is pretty amazing to see.
We have Butterfly House at Mangere Airport but not as many varieties as you have. ..Wonderful creatures butterflies.
