While on a tour of the US we were normally taken to Indian restaurants. I could not believe my eyes when the waiter placed before us onion rings of a size that I had never seen before. No They were not from the onion you see in the image. That was the world’s highest weighing onion, details about it you can read in the link below.
But those onion rings that we Indians grabbed the moment they were placed on the table came from onions that grow in the US. Do you know David and Goliath? Yes that is how I can compare onions growing in the US and in India.
Talking about large size everything out there in the US is large be it the pizza, the size of those coffee mugs, coke …………the works.

You can imagine our excitement to see them for the first time.

I do not quite remember but it must have been atleast 4 inches
I’m not from America so I don’t know how big things are. Importantly, the onion rings were delicious ?
They were huge atleast 4 inches in diameter (lol)
So they say … I don’t know because I’m not in the US yet
I have been there and so I know. My nephew ordered for a pizza and we could not go through it all. We took the remnants home (lol)

We do not have such large onions here and obviously everyone wanted them.
