It is all very well getting excited about interacting with the whole world but if one does not know the time zone one belongs to it could create quite a fiasco.
I am on another site and have been there for over 10 years and finally I know when my friends are having their evening snack, or snoring away or are at office………………… Life is easier that way. I do not want to wait that long here and would therefore be happy if you could tell me and the community which time zone you belong to.

I checked. You are GMT+2 which means you are three and a half hours behind India. And around 10 hours before the US

There are those from other countries here. Unless we know which country they come from we will not know I think US has 4 zones.

I have a little set of clocks on my computer for some time zones and I extrapolate the in between places.
I am GMT +5 If we know the country with that clock that you have it is easy to find out.
Central time zone in the US. It is 10:30 AM right now.
When it was 10.30 am for you I do not know. If I know which country a user comes from then it is easy. With the knowledge that you are in the central time zone that also would be good enough. You are GMT -6 and I am GMT +5.30 which means you are eleven and a half hours behind India. And then again US has 12 zones.

Although most my friends know they can reach out any time and If I am available I will answer.
When one is constantly in touch with each other then we know what time zone each one is in
