The world’s biggest flower Rafflesia, also known as ‘monster flower’. This plant is known for its distinguishable properties and the flower’s extremely unpleasant smell.
The plants of this species do not have root, stem and leaves and caters to its needs with host plants and it appears only when its flowers on the host plant bloom and now the Indonesian Forest Department officials have discovered possibly the biggest flower.
According to the Western Sumatra Natural Resources and Conservation Center, about 4 feet of Rafflesia flowers have been discovered in the western Sumatra forest, which is the biggest flower ever found. Strangely the same flower and the same plant was discovered in 2017, as the biggest flower but this new flower is 4 inches wide.
The open mouth of this flower excludes a smell that resembles a molten flesh or a corpse and getting closer is not easy for everyone and his life is short an dies in only one week after opening mouth.

I have never seen or heard of this monstrous flower. I wonder if it gobbles up flies and insects to give it the emanation of corpses. Probably what happens is that flies and insects fall into its gaping mouth. Very interesting and quite different…
It’s the smell that attracts the flies! I think it uses them in the way that other flowers use bees, as opposed to consuming them.
Yeah , this is true , and thanks for your detail comments
Yeah , this is really very different than all
I think I saw this flower in pictures. It is a parasitic plant.
