Those who have gone on tours opting for packages will know how hectic the travel is The Travel Agents try to pack in as much as possible without a breather.
Our Europe package was one such but in Switzerland a surprise was awaiting us. After that hectic Jung Frau adventure we were given a full day just to take it easy and they organised a boat ride on the Lucerne Lake. It was a two hour ride. The blue, sparkling water and the steady boat ride is something I cannot forget in a hurry.
There were ducks swimming in the shallows and we were allowed to feed them which again was a relaxing experience.
