The Champions League Round of 16 draw was held earlier today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The first leg of the fixtures will be played on February 18, 19, 25, and 26 while the second leg of the fixtures will be played on March 10, 11, 17, and 18. Yes, Champions League matches will be played on St. Patrick’s Day.

Borussia Dortmund vs PSG
Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool
Atalanta vs Valencia
Tottenham Hotspur vs Red Bull Leipzig
Chelsea vs Bayern Munich
Napoli vs Barcelona
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Lyon vs Juventus
The two biggest match-ups in this draw are Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool, the defending champs, and Real Madrid vs Manchester City. England versus Spain will be front and center in this Round of 16.

These games in February and March will be very good, lado. Real Madrid vs Manchester City will be a 50/50 toss-up. Flip a coin.
I don’t like Real so I’ll cheer for City
i am not a huge fan of soccer, but I do watch when they play the various league championship games.
that said, I enjoy when I do watch.
I also like this concept of league championship games. I like how Europe does this for their professional basketball as well. In the NBA, Adam Silver is exploring a way to do a midseason tournament mimicking how European soccer does a Cup tournament during the season.
i think the NBA tournament is not going to go honestly.

I’m pretty much Chelsea and Liverpool…
Those are two good teams to be a fan of. They do have some tough matches coming up though.
Chelsea has broken my heart more than once this year. Liverpool has been strong. I think Liverpool should win but with Chelsea and Bayern? I think Ill hide in the bathroom.
Actually, you have to wait and see if Chelsea brings in some more players before the end of the January transfer window.
