It is called Macopa here that is considered an exotic fruit. When I was young the mountain apple is sold in the market but now you can only find it in nursery gardens and orchards. It seems that people do not like it anymore.

Is this called Rose Apple or Java Apple? If it is, there are quite a lot selling in my country, Malaysia. I saw someone is planting in front of their house nearby too. I think it’s quite popular in my country and I like it too as it’s juicy.
I have not seen this fruit before, thanks for sharing
I’ve seen this fruit a few times. Never knew that was the name.
Not seen this fruit here. Google calls it Strawberry Guava that turns red when ripe Does this fruit turn red when ripe?
I am not sure if this is called Strawberry Guava, it looks like Java Apple or Rose Apple to me. Java apples will turn red when they are ripe. Gotta get Alex to confirm this. 🙂
