Eurasian Collared Doves have plump bodies, small heads, and long tails. They’re larger than Mourning Doves but slimmer and longer-tailed than a Rock Pigeon. The wings are broad and slightly rounded. The broad tail is squared off at the tip, rather than pointed like a Mourning Dove’s.
I managed to capture this photo back in the summer from inside. He was perched on my deck eating the sunflower seeds. I had the camera behind the patio doors. He is different than the typical mourning doves I usually see. I love the black collar around his neck and he is almost white. Very pretty.

Lovely photo, Carol. I don’t know much about pigeons, to be honest!
I love these, so far they are the prettiest I have seen on my deck. Almost white with that black collar.
Nice picture is it from your back deck?
Yes, as I said in the post, I took it from inside, behind the patio doors. He was sitting on the deck railing where the sunflower seeds were. Thanks Doc.
Sorry, my question was you took that picture from inside? Great capture, I was confirming and didn’t actually mean to post what I posted.

Thank you so much. I love these birds and they just appeared on my deck this year. I shared a better one awhile back that showed more of the ring around his neck. Here is the link to that one…https://virily.com/challenges/eurasian-collared-dove-day-262/
