I was out changing the birdbath water earlier. Decided to look around, with camera in hand, to see what I might could find. Surprise there was the garden spider on the fence. I snapped some photos a few weeks ago and surprised to see he is still in the same place. I love watching these from a distance and they can spin an impressive web. I will be back to check on him again. Snapping the photo from a distance.
I decided to share this one with Kim’s September Pleasures as there is only one day left for the challenge. Not sure I put spiders in the pleasures category but it was a delight to see this one on my fence.
Also sharing a rose for those who do not like spiders. Enjoy!

Good pictures-October is here … a little more will be New Year
Not very long and the year will be gone.
That photo is just beautiful, and made my day.
Thanks my friend, I am so glad to hear that. 🙂
I am not a fan of spiders, but I’m not battering them
That is why I also shared a rose for you that do not like spiders.
Well done! Nice post
Thank you very much Georgi.
That flower is really wonderful, but I do not like that spider at all!
Thank you, that seems to be the consensus of the group. That is why I added the rose.
Very well nice Spidey picture
Thank you very much hamza.
you’re so much welcome..
Once they find a spot they like they wont move. Still have mine!
That rose is fab. love the edit!!!!
I agree Kim. Thanks, the rose is a painted edit.
Because spiders and roses are not inimical each other, then I also don’t antagonize them or one of them.
October? Mmm… Always ready to enter any group of days.
I knew many here do not like spiders. So I added a rose for those.
And the spider has become fragrant too…
Yes it sort of has Albert.
Rose is beautiful. I do not like cold weather because then there is no flower. The spider is perfect. I do not like such insects, but nature has made it perfect.
Thanks, I am not ready for cold but cooler weather. Thank you.
Oh, my, what a surprise. I do not like spiders one bit, not even pretty ones like that. Great flower!
I know Ann, most do not. I am not a spider lover but I do leave the garden spiders alone when I see them in my garden.
Oh! I leave them alone outside, too, Carol, except when they are building a web across my door! But if they come inside, especially in the bedroom or bath, then I squash them. I know some people let them live in the house, but I am quite allergic to their bite.
They are not allowed inside… ever. 🙂
Great photo, even though I am afraid of spiders, lol. And I’m not ready for October, too close to it being cold outside!
Also, really like the flower photo!
Thanks Courtney it is still in the 80s here so the cold is a long way off. Thank you again.
Nice photos thank you Carol.
Rose is beautiful.
Thank you Robin. I edited the rose as you can tell.
The rose is beautiful, and the spider is not
And the rose is just for you Branka. 🙂
It’s never a delight for me to see one… I’d … leave… lol
I left a rose for you. I knew most of you do not like spiders…
Thank you, love the rose!!
hehe
