Always look forward to seeing my Azalea bushes bloom in the spring. They are one of the first blooms I see in the garden.
I have three and they all bloom together in the early spring. They only last a week or so but I enjoy the color while I have them. The good part about these flowers are they come back each year. Perennials are the best.
Throw a little mulch their way, make sure they get plenty of water and sunshine and they are good to go! More of those little things I enjoy in the spring.

Our azaleas bloom in winter when the weather is cooler. However, they almost always struggle against the summer temperatures and lose the battle.
That is interesting. Ours only bloom for two weeks max in the spring.
Actually I should have said one week max. If I get lucky maybe two weeks.
I really tried to think of a favorite and I don’t have one! I love to see flowers though.
