They seems to do grooming for the huge trees around the neighbourhood quite often… I don’t know the reason why … perhaps its to keep them neat or to prevent the birds from building nest in them? (Crows gets really aggressive when they have chicks)
Anyway … it’s a huge project involving many people and machineries…

Ah, you’re being so kind. Thanks.
I still have much to learn about photography 🙂
Haha thanks!!
I guess I’ll just accept your compliment
since it made me happy 🙂
or the mayor has a friend with a tree trimming business…
Hmm… that makes me wanna do some investigating :p
corruption tends to work top down
Hmm… and there are people who thinks higher salary will eliminate corruption… *rolle eyes*
these would be the same jerks who try to sell you on trickle down economics?
higher salary eliminates corruption? not as much as mandatory jail sentencing would…
LOL Love this post, great read
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the post 🙂
Is that an Angsana tree? That’s what we call it, if it’s a tree that I mean. Angsana is a large fragile tree. The stem is easily broken if it is blown by a hard wind. So, the city government may feel the need to anticipate the situation by looking at the height of the tree.
I don’t know what tree it is but I’m pretty sure it’s not Angsana… there are no Angsana (seeds) around or on it.
That is highly possible, we’ve tree toppling due to weather conditions before but it was a lightning strike
Do you call the tree I mean by Angsana too?
This is done every year and is good for the tree. Shoot it after a while to show us again.
I hope I remember … :p
Well, sometimes I just get so used to things I forget about them :p
What a change! I bet there will still be men who won’t see the difference. ?
I hope all that hair grows back soon, I liked the ‘hairy’ tree more. ?
Haha, I know what you mean :p
I think I like the hairy one more too…
Maybe they want the trees to rejuvenate a little ?
Haha, perhaps, perhaps 🙂
Oh wow, I hope the tree survives!
Hmm… they trim it at least once a year or 2 years (if my memory serve me right)… the tree always survives 🙂
It’s nice to have it screwed up … even with us they do it … mostly due to electrical installation
We don’t have electrical lines near the tree …
maybe its for it to grow bushier as Dawn mentioned?
Pruning makes the trees grow bushier also keeps them out of the power lines
Ah… I see …
I thought only bonsai grow bushier with pruning …
but I guess its the same with trees
