We are leaving in a digital era. There is almost a gazette available for every day-to-day work. They are really helpful and make our life easy. The gazettes are getting smarter day by day to make our experience better with them. But every coin has two sides. If we used them smartly they are a blessing for us else the same gazette can be a curse to us.
Let’s take an example:
Drones are very common now and are used in various processes. If we use these in a constructive way these can help us delivering things to the remote area, take pictures of remote objects, help us controlling traffic, surveying unreachable area in a natural calamity, and many more. But think if we used it destructively as it was shown in marvels latest Spiderman movies. It can be used as weapons of mass destruction.
So it is up to us, how smartly we are using our smart devices. We need to be smart enough to use a smart device.

Yes, you are right on having a balance on the dependency.
As long as we use them smartly and know how to live without them we are okay. What happens if all of the Smart devices are removed. Will our kids know how to tell time by looking at a clock? How to dial a phone without a keypad? Use an encyclopedia to look something up?

that “smartly” is an interesting choice of words. The intelligence required to operate a device is one thing. the intelligence to use that device in a way that is beneficial to the user is another.
