Sharing a photo from Dustin’s garden. I have tow butterfly bushes. And they have tons of visitors this time of year.
This beauty is called a silver spotted skipper. A little different markings than many I see. He seemed to pose for his photo. It is such a peaceful feeling to see butterflies in the garden.
Enjoying the little things in Dustin’s garden. Nature is very healing and therapeutic.

It seems that more animals and insects are enjoying with less humans walking around.
I do see more of them recently as I walk around!
I think you are right, and I don’t blame them.
I have a friend who talks about butterflies as a connection. They, in the beginning, damage the garden by eating and consuming the plants as caterpillars. But then, they return to bring the gardener delight in seeing the beauty!
What a process they go through. I always feel a connection to Dustin when I see one.
i suspect there is one there – returning love as much as can be done from the other side
You know I definitely believe he is there. And maybe more than one.
i know it is beyond the normal but I feel my grandfather around me sometimes, just there to reassure me. I hear my dad in my heart at times.
What a peaceful feeling when we sense their presence around us.
Sad to say I have not seen many butterflies this summer. I am always happy to see when you post about butterflies.
I am seeing a lot for now. But no monarchs yet.
I have never seen such a butterfly but he sure is cute.
I thought he was so different with the white spots.
A beautiful butterfly. I only see white and yellow butterflies.
Thanks, I love seeing these as the colors really stand out.
