Sharing a photo for the Nature Tuesday challenge. Last December when we had new trees planted, I also planted my Autumn Joy Sedum plant in Dustin’s garden. Covered it completely with mulch for the winter.
Guess what? It is starting to sprout up green in the garden. So excited. I have always had this plant in a container on the deck for years now. Finally decided it was too big and needed to be in the garden beside the rose bush. So far it is looking good.
All of the rain we got seems to have been good for plants and trees in the yard. Spring is just around the corner hopefully.

Some new plants are starting to grow here and the birds are singing more, so I believe that’s spring is around the corner! 🙂
Yes but we still have cold weather coming.
Wish you a nice week ahead!
Thanks and the same to you.
Something good has come from all that rain right? Happy Sedum! Yay!!
Yes and it looks like my sedum will survive in the garden. I was worried.
If I were you, for next winter take a couple of cuttings off and start new ones. Sedums are easy to do this with. Then you wont have to worry as much, if you loose the outside one, you still have the others.
Yes I plan to do that. This year was going to be like an experiment and so far so good. So I will do that and have them all over to garden.
Spring has made it green.
Spring is trying but we still have cold weather coming.
I keep hoping spring is coming, I’ve had it with winter already
I am also waiting, still cold weather next week.
Spring here is anytime, I have my ginger, aloe vera and lillies growing excellently from Zero to blooming. yeheeeeeey.
She’s so beautiful and so green.
Good for you, spring will eventually arrive here. Enjoy!
Beautiful flower. I think the rain helped her.
Thanks, it made me very happy.
Does it have flowers? At my place, such plants produce cute red flowers.
No, this is the plant I have shown numerous times that starts out green then changes to pink and then burgundy, remember?
Here is a link to another post about the sedum…

Ya ya ya… Now I remember! Thanks.
Great, glad the link went though ok. 🙂
There is a real spring in our country … we had 20 degrees today … I’m just afraid that the winter will come back … I see that plants are already planting in you
That is great for you, not time here yet but soon….! Yes I am also afraid winter is not over and it will be back to destroy the blooms.
It has often happened that everything was blooming and then the frost has ruined everything
Yes that it was I was afraid of this year.
That was last year dear friend
Such a fresh looking plant. Looks like it is getting much tender loving care.
It is fresh, just today it started popping up out of the ground. Excited!
