Yes, another “reward” from the walk… a Squirrel, climbing down the tree … he was going for the fruit at the root of the tree!
I don’t know what fruit it was but he seems to enjoy it!! A pity I couldn’t get close (he is so alert!) nor did I manage to capture an image of him eating… but I saw it with my own eyes, the cute little thing chewing on his food!!

Only saw a Grey Squirrel in Hyde Park London in 1982, I was quite taken by it. So I only saw it once.

I was really lucky, he was coming down when I walked pass!
and perhaps he is hungry so he didn’t run away straight away but dived for the fruit 😀
