According to the dictionary, the definition of blog (also referred to as blogging) is:
add new material to or regularly update a blog.
“it’s about a week since I last blogged”
write about (an event, situation, topic, etc.) in a blog.
“he blogged the Democratic and Republican national conventions as an independent”
I used to write in blogs of people / businesses I cooperated with, but could never find the time, the mood, the will, the ‘gut’ to start my own try.
Virily was a great start for me, and it assisting in thinking and beginning the project #aboutheraklion.
At the same time, I have started blogging in steemit and I might (further down the road) create my own blog some time.
All the above is because it would really interest me to know if you are blogging out of Virily, and if yes, which platform you use. I will also happily follow you if you put a link to your blog in the comments.
p.s. This post is also so that I can try for the first time the (not any more) new Poll option 🙂
Thank you for reading and for answering below
-

I don’t put my political stuff here. I actually send President Trump a letter every day and publish them. It is a little too muddy for here.
As to blogging, I use Virily only, katerinaramm.
Very nice poll. Thank you.
Thank you lucia anna, appreciate your comment 🙂
I don’t really understand how Facebook is not considered a blog if Virily is. On FB it is easier to see all a person’s posts together than here. In that way FB more closely resembles “tradition” blogging platforms like Blogger, Blogspot etc.
You can blog on facebook, but it is more of a social network platform. Blogging is considered to write about a topic and to have a minimum of words.
Facebook allows posts that are without any words, so it can be using as a blog but it is not a blog.
(my humble opinion :))
Sorry for the typo below (can be used – instead of using)
I have just come across this nice article about differences between social media and blogs.
http://www.gusiff.com/marketing-posts/blogging-vs-social-media-heres-difference/
I didn’t notice the typo until you pointed it out 😉
It is impressive to see that 50% of the voters are loyal and exclusive to Virily 🙂
I don’t know if you count fb and twitter. I used to do Niume but they tanked, now I am thinking about branching out but currently just Virily
I think fb and twitter does not count. They are not considered blogging platforms, but they are a good start!
then my amended answer would be; just Virily but I am considering other sites…
Haha, thank you! Let me know if you need any assistance!
How kind of you to offer
I vlog on youtube ..unfortunately my channel was closed down because of copyright thing. lol
Sorry to hear that, maybe you can reopen it if specific material will be removed?
Thank you for replying!
I hope so, I think it would be better if I create another channel.
Perhaps it will be best. Let me know so that I can subscribe to you!
sure..I will..sooner than later 🙂
I have a food blog about desserts.
Really great niche you have got there! I have just followed your twitter and insta account!
Best of luck!
Thank you very much! 🙂

Wix + Tumblr + Virily and lets see what else!
Thank you so much for commenting Kim!
It is nice to see that Virily is helping in getting out and expressing ourselves 🙂
Let’s see what other users reply too, looking forward to see more!
I was the first one to answer. I only use Virily for blogging. On occasion share pictures on face book.
