Distracting depression until it goes away

Ignore the negative energy surrounding you and surround yourself with things that uplift you. If you have a smart or android phone, music is something we all have access to. If you have a radio then that is a plus because radio’s can bring a diverse selection of music playing within a short span. Go for music that sets the mood you want whether instead of sad, depressing music that hinders your mood from uprising out of the darkness that shadows it. In the moment, keep yourself busy whether it be playing video games, writing, reading, working out, cleaning, cooking or maybe even art.
