It has been hot weather in recent days. Hard to bear heat. I almost wanted to wet all the clothes I was wearing. Maybe that way I would have felt better. This morning was as hot as the days before … but the surprise. A short, summer rain suddenly appeared. It didn’t take long but it took long enough to wet my clothes while I was on the balcony and I was trying to take a picture.
This short summer rain is excellent. It brought me fresh and refreshing air, a pleasant scent and happiness. I don’t need anything more today …

Wow it is like I can touch this rain. How beautiful. I love the rain.
It was a heavy but short rain. I was glad it cooled the atmosphere.
Our summer rain often lasts from mid-June to September, so I am not usually so happy when it rains in summer! Being situated on the edge of the ocean, we can never be sure of the weather, but I do remember summers when it was very dry for weeks and weeks, and then the pure joy of the pouring rain, so I relate!
I understand you perfectly. In my area the summers are drier and when it rains it is a real joy. But there are areas in the country where it rained too much and there are massive floods. This is very sad.
